The Queen’s Birthday saw Seaside Tennis Club stalwart Margaret Nash honoured with a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to tennis.
Margaret has been an integral part of the Seaside Tennis Club for an incredible 44 years. Beginning as Junior Coordinator in 1975, Margaret took on the role of Club Secretary in 1989 and has held both roles ever since.
“We are thrilled to congratulate Margaret on this wonderful honour,” Tennis SA CEO Steven Baldas said.
“Margaret’s hard work and dedication is truly inspirational, and for it to be recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia is so very well deserved.”
