We are pleased to be welcoming two new members to the Tennis SA Tournaments and Competitions Team next week.
Emily Smith will be taking on the role of Tournaments Coordinator for Tennis SA.
The Tournaments Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery and communication of the tournaments in South Australia. This tournament pathway includes the full spectrum of events to cater for the first time junior player through to high level professional players and social players.
A highly talented golfer, Emily has been working full time for Golf Australia and has a strong background in event and tournament delivery.
Luke Taylor will join the team as a Leagues Coordinator for Tennis SA.
Luke will be responsible for all aspects of the competition pathway, ensuring that the network of competitions grows and retains the number of organised tennis participants. The primary focus of the role will be on delivering the weekly summer and winter, senior and junior competition.
Luke has a double degree in sports and law, and has been involved in a number of sporting clubs and organisations, including playing football for SMOSH/West Lakes Football Club.
