32 players from across the six regional areas took part in a Super 10s event alongside the Foundation Cup. Teams were named after legends of the sport and consisted of four players from different regions, with a mix of boys and girls.
Day one saw players enjoy a training session in perfect conditions, focussing on movement, perception, transition to net and attacking plays.
The teams played three rounds of matches on day two with excellent play, teamwork, fun and improvement from match to match. All matches were extremely close with players showing exceptional sportsmanship.
Day three included two rounds of matches played on grass and hardcourts. Players also took part in a dress up round themed around their team namesakes (Sampras, Agassi, Borg, McEnroe, Navratilova, Jean-King, Graf and Evert). Players completed a project on their legend with outstanding effort, artwork and creativity!
After a fantastic four days, Team Graf was announced as the winning team, with an additional 12 players receiving awards for their efforts throughout the tournament.
