Our team would like to invite you to attend a free Line Umpire information session!
Line Umpires get to call the shots – literally – at all levels of tournaments, from grassroots all the way through to the Australian Open!
Line Umpiring is highly competitive but a lot of fun so if you have an interest we would love for you to be part of our team! Additionally, becoming a Line Umpire is the quickest pathway to getting on court at tennis tournaments around the world and accommodates a large variety of ages, with the minimum age being 16 years.
Within this informational session, our line umpire accredited trainer will discuss what is involved when becoming a line umpire within SA, outline career pathway and opportunities to umpire interstate and overseas.
Information Session will commence at 6:00 pm on the 29th of November at Memorial Drive and registrations must be finalized by the 22rd of November.
Initial line umpire training will commence Sunday 1st December at Next Gen/Tennis SA courts. All training is free and qualified Line Umpires get paid for their work.
