We are thrilled to again offer clubs the opportunity to participate in Breakthrough Community Round (Summer) following the successful Winter round in August. The aim is for sporting clubs around South Australia to don a purple and blue armband to help raise awareness and much needed funds for mental health research.
Fundraising efforts will
directly fund targeted mental health research in sports as well as mental
health first aid programs throughout South Australia.
The official Summer
Breakthrough Community Round is on Saturday 13 February 2021, but another date
may be more suitable for your club.
Once you register, Breakthrough will send out purple and blue arm band tape for your players and officials to wear during the match as a symbol of your commitment to tackle mental health head on. You will also have access to a range of fundraising tools and resources to help you in your efforts.
