Along with the border closures put in place in recent days, new COVID-19 restrictions have been announced for South Australia today as we aim to prevent an outbreak of COVID-19 in our state. These restrictions are effective as of midnight tonight and are expected to be in place for at least one week.
Summary of COVID-19 restrictions in SA (28 June 2021)
- Density requirement of one person per 2 square metres for all defined public activities and gatherings
- Private gatherings capped at 150 people
- Seated consumption of food and beverages at all indoor venues
- No communal food or beverage service areas
- Dancing is not permitted at licensed premises
- Singing is not permitted indoors
- Masks mandatory in high risk settings and highly recommended on public transport
