Edward Winter and Elim Yan are the South Australian Junior International champions after taking out the singles titles at Playford Tennis Centre yesterday.
In a repeat of last week’s final, top seed Winter defeated Hayden Jones (Qld) 6-4 6-2 to claim back-to-back titles. In the girls, after finishing runner up last week, Yan overcame top seed Lily Fairclough (WA) in a tight match 7-5 2-6 6-1 to claim her maiden ITF World Tennis Tour Junior title.
“We are pleased to have hosted the ITF World Tennis Tour Junior tournaments in South Australia over the past two weeks,” said Tournament Director, Jacinta O’Loughlin.
“Congratulations to our singles champions Edward Winter, Elim Yan and Charlotte Kempenaers-Pocz, along with all players and families who have been a part of these tournaments.
