Winter Pennant is the largest competition offering in South Australia. It is a weekly competition for teams of all levels of tennis from any Metro and inner Regional based Association.
The 2024 Winter Pennant season is currently in its 78th season of competition making it the longest running and largest metropolitan tennis competition in Australia. Winter Pennant continues to go from strength to strength with a steady increase of teams in recent years.
This long standing competition offers a good standard of play that attracts many talented players from across Metro Adelaide and bordering regional clubs. Back in 2018 the Winter Pennant competition had 233 teams competing and currently there are 296 teams in the 2024 season. Showing a tremendous growth of 78% over the past six years.
