The City of Playford Tennis International will return to Playford Tennis Centre for its sixth edition from Sunday 20 to Sunday 27 October 2024.
In conjunction with the City of Playford, the City of Playford Tennis International will host a Family Fun Day to celebrate the finals action on Sunday 27 October from 10am to 2pm.
City of Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty has encouraged residents to make the most of the fun happening both on and off the court.
“The City of Playford Tennis International is one of the most anticipated free community events of the year, providing our residents with a unique, week-long experience of quality tennis,” said Mayor Glenn Docherty.
“We are thrilled to welcome back a Family Fun Day for this year’s tournament – it’s a fantastic way to celebrate the grand finale with friends and family.”
In a day dedicated to celebrating world-class athletes battling it out to become champions, the community is invited to come along and enjoy a range of family friendly activities in and around the tennis action.

“A sincere thank you goes to the City of Playford for their unwavering support of this tournament, and in particular, the added support to ensure this community event is bigger and better than ever.”
“With the inclusion of more kids’ activities, chill out zones, tennis inflatables, face painting, jumping castles, POP tennis activations and an Indigenous Tennis Come and Try, there really will be something for everyone,” Sterry concluded.
The field for the City of Playford Tennis International will be announced later in October.
