Tennis SA, in partnership with Berri Tennis Club, invites the community to a Family Fun Day as part of the 2024 State Foundation Cup. This free event takes place on Wednesday 9 October from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Berri Tennis Club, and will be packed with exciting activities for all ages, including:
- Colouring in station
- Tennis inflatable
- Jumpy castle
- Giant games – Jenga, Connect 4, Cornhole
- Popcorn station
- Face painting station
- Airbrush tattoo station
This is a wonderful opportunity for local families to come together, celebrate tennis, and enjoy a range of interactive activities.
“We are incredibly excited to bring the Family Fun Day to the State Foundation Cup in Berri this year,” Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey said.
“The Family Fun Day is a reflection of our commitment to engaging with regional communities, and we look forward to seeing families come out and be a part of this wonderful event” Sterrey added.
Now in its eleventh year at the Berri Tennis Club, the State Foundation Cup brings together 180 players from six regional teams, making this a key development opportunity for junior tennis players across South Australia. The Family Fun Day adds to the fun of the tournament and is designed to encourage community engagement.This is a perfect opportunity for regional media to capture the spirit of the event, showcasing family fun and community involvement at the heart of regional tennis development. Interviews and photo opportunities with players and key Tennis SA representatives will be available on the day.
