Top seeds Ryuki Matsuda (JPN) and Haruna Arakawa (JPN) have progressed through, along with Australians Thomas Fancutt (Qld), Pavle Marinkov (NSW), Jesse Delaney (NSW), Alana Parnaby (Vic), Kirra Bond-Scott (Vic).
Day two action is jam packed tomorrow including the final round of the women’s and men’s qualifying draw, and the first round of the men’s main draw, with no.3 seed Shintaro Mochizuki (JPN) and no.4 seed Tristan Schoolkate (Qld) in action.
