In qualifying action, top seed Haruna Arakawa (JPN) has progressed to the main draw, along with New Zealand’s Monique Barry (NZL), No.3 seed Chihiro Muramatsu (JPN), Hayu Kinoshita (JPN), Mia Horvit (USA), Erina Hayashi (JPN), Ya Yi Yang (TPE) and Onyu Choi (KOR).
In the men’s qualifying Sydney’s Pavle Marinkov (AUS) is through to the Round of 32, along with No.1 seed Ryuki Matsuda (JPN), Emile Hudd (GBR), Colin Sinclar (NMI), Pavle Marinkov (AUS), Zura Tkemaladze (GEO), Taisei Matsuda (JPN) and Ryuki Ichikawa (JPN).
