Glenorchy Tennis Club

Glenorchy Tennis Club and St. Therese’s Tennis Club have been successful in receiving Sport and Recreation grants to improve their facilities. The clubs both submitted application through the 2009-10 Sport and Recreation Tasmania major grants program.

St Therese’s Tennis Club was granted $52,000 to use in the refurbishment of their club house and the instalment of tennis court lights while Glenorchy Tennis Club was granted $22,000 to resurface two of their synthetic courts.  The projects will assist both clubs to improve their facilities for their members.

There are a number of ways Tasmanian tennis clubs can apply for funding for improvements. For information and advice on where to find these grants and how to fill out an application please contact Alex Jago on (03) 6108 8201 or [email protected]
