Tennis was on the menu at the Taste of Tasmania festival on Hobart’s waterfront.  Close to 1,000 participants enjoyed trying out their skills at Speed Serve and MLC Tennis Hot Shots on the Parliment Square lawns over two days.

Event co-ordinator, Alex Jago from Tennis Tasmania said “It was great to see so many kids playing tennis for the first time.  You could see the enjoyment they got from using the MLC Tennis Hot Shots modified court and equipment.”

Smaller courts, nets, racquets and low-compression balls make learning easy and gives younger players the chance to serve, rally and score right from the first time they play.

Each day a prize of two tickets to the final of the final of the Moorilla Hobart International was on offer for the fastest serve in the specially designed Speed Serve tent.  Winners for each category were…
