We would like to congratulate 12 year old Courtney Webb from Launceston, who recently won an award to commemorate her sporting prowess. The award was presented on the basis of a jointly promoted initiative of the Examiner Newspaper and IGA supermarkets.

During 2012 Courtney, who is a member of the Trevallyn Tennis Club, represented Tasmania in the Bruce Cup team which travelled to Perth, WA in October. Courtney also displayed fine sporting skills off the tennis court during the year, representing the state in the Under 15 Girls Cricket team, participating in the Northern Tasmania under 14 Girls Basketball team, and then leading the field of runners home to claim first place in the Inter High Schools Cross Country.   Well done Courtney!!
