Catherine  Krueger from Taroona, Hobart has had her first mainland Gold OJT Event Singles victory taking out the 14s Girls Victorian Junior Claycourt Championships over the March long weekend. Catherine defeated Jeanette Lin from South Australia  in the final 6/3 6/4. Catherine is now in a preparation phase for the 14s National Clay court Championships which start 1st week of April in Ipswich. National Coach TAS Simon Youl says this is a great result for Catherine and will give her increased confidence going into her next event being Ipswich.
