Entries are now open for the 2016 Tasmanian Bruce Cup Trials, being held on 24 July at the Domain Tennis Centre, Hobart.

The Bruce Cup is a prestigious annual primary school team event is conducted by School Sport Australia (SSA) in partnership with Tennis Australia. The Bruce Cup provides all primary school children with an opportunity to represent their State or Territory and participate in a national tennis championship. The event attracts Australian ranking points, and is open to girls and boys aged twelve (12) and under.

Tennis Tasmania selects a state representative team of seven (7) boys and seven (7) girls to compete in the Bruce Cup based on the State trials.

GENERAL ELIGIBLITY

Aged twelve (12) and under as at 31st October 2016; all representative players are required to be a full time student at a recognised educational institution in Tasmania.

Sunday 24 July at the Domain Tennis Centre, Hobart

SCORING FORMAT

Best of three (3) tie-break sets
