Burnie TAS 7320, Australia, 23 September 2018 | Tennis Tasmania
The 2018 Tasmanian Tennis Awards celebrated an outstanding year of tennis in the state.
Former world No.3 doubles star Casey Dellacqua was the special guest for the annual awards presentation, which recognised outstanding performances, achievements and local contributions to the sport. Held at the Burnie Tennis Club, it formed part of a weekend-long celebration including club forums and social play opportunities.
Tennis Tasmania General Manager Darren Sturgess was impressed with the quality of nominees across the 10 award categories.
“With participation numbers rising across the state and an exciting summer approaching headlined by our three international events, it has been great to unite the Tasmanian tennis community to recognise and celebrate our highest achievers,” Sturgess said.
