The chance to welcome an international tennis star to your club is among the prizes on offer at the 2019 Tasmanian Tennis Awards. Other prizes include Hobart International hospitality experiences and support for interstate trips.
For the first time, Tennis Tasmania is offering additional rewards to all Tasmanian Tennis Award winners.
“The Tasmanian Tennis Awards celebrate outstanding contributions to the sport in our state. As well as recognising high-achievers, we also want to reward them,” Tennis Tasmania General Manager Darren Sturgess says.
“Each award comes with a range of prizes that will not only reward the winners, but also help them with tailored prizes in each category.”
Nominations for the 2019 Tasmanian Tennis Awards close on 2 August.
The Tasmanian Tennis Awards will be presented on Saturday 31 August as part of a weekend-long celebration at Country Club Tasmania in Launceston. Following the Tennis Tasmania AGM at 11am, forums from 12.30pm will cover a wide-range of topics including customer experience, digital growth and player retention. Clubs will also present on a range of topics, including social play, Book a Court and grant applications. The award presentation evening follows from 5.30pm.
