Tennis Tasmania is calling for nominations for two member-elected board positions.
In accordance with the constitution, retiring board members Peter Hobday and Heidi Radcliff are eligible for re-election.
About the Roles
The Board comprising 6 elected and 2 appointed members is responsible for overseeing the governance and strategic direction of Tennis Tasmania.
The board typically meets 6 times per year, usually at Campbell Town from 4.30pm – 7.30pm on a Wednesday night.
During the COVID-19 pandemic the board has been meeting via video conference.
Board members are expected to attend the annual general meeting and club forum and awards function associated with the AGM.
Director positions are voluntary.
Selection Process
Tennis Tasmania’s Board executive will oversee the process, with a vote to be conducted with all affiliated members between 2 July and 1 August.
Both the President, Martin Turmine, and Vice President Pip Leedham, are available to discuss the role with interested applicants.

Expressions of interest will be due to Tennis Tasmania by 11:59pm, Tuesday 30 June 2020, emailed to the President, Martin Turmine at [email protected] with the title Tennis Tasmania EOI.
Affiliated members will be advised of all candidates with the optimal skills and experience for an election process.
