Can you tell the Tasmanian Tennis Community a bit about yourself and your background?
I’m a mum of two girls and now a grandmother, and I work full time as a Director of ICT for a Government agency.
I started playing tennis about 20 years ago after an open
day at the Glenorchy City Tennis Club where my daughter was being coached.
I have been involved with the club ever since, and have
played in the AYC competition and been on the committee for a long time. I have held the roles of President and Events
Coordinator for a few years and am currently Vice President.
I have also been a member of the Glenorchy AMT Open Committee for longer than I can remember.
What attracted you to a position on the Tennis Tasmania Board?
I have been a board member for eight years; my desire to be a member was, and still is, to represent clubs and social players.
If you could describe
your playing style in one word, what would it be?
A scrambler.
