In order to encourage players to compete in their local events and leagues, the National Qualifying Criteria has been updated to include a 100 point minimum, for players to be eligible for National Championships. This update will be in placed for the Australian Hardcourt Championships in October 2023.
To accumulate points, players must participate in endorsed events, leagues and tours – which attract differing levels of points.
As well as the required 100 points, players will still require either Direct Acceptance (based on UTR), a Wild Card, or to win a State Qualifying event.
If/When both criteria are met, it will be the players responsibility to submit a National Qualifying Criteria Form during entry, to confirm the accumulation of the 100 points.
