Open Day a great success

The Tennis Practice Wall was officially opened on 14th March, 2020.  Life member Tim Starr and Junior members Abbey Colbourne and Declan Cook did the honors.   Also in this photo were Kelly Robinson from ANZ, Deputy Mayor Rob Pollock and Committee members Dean Malcolm, Michelle Marsden, Jodie Colbourne Enid Besant-Ryan and Ian Boardman.

Good time had by all.

Open Day March 14th

Our tennis club will be having an open day on March 14th to officially open our new practice wall.  Please come along an help us celebrate.  It would be great to have get some new members and we have some special deals available in entice people to join.  So please come along.

Improvements for the club

In the last month, the Eurobodalla Shire Council have resurfaced courts 1 and 2.  The work is complete and the courts are wonderful.  Thanks to the council for doing this work and showing faith in our club.  Additionally, students from Carroll College have painted a mural on the tennis practice wall (facing north).  They did a fantastic job and the mural looks terrific.  A big thank you to the students and the school staff, in particular Lizette Richards, for organising this. Great outcome.

News

Club members competed in the Bateman’s Bay Senior’s on the 24th and 25th of August.  Pleased to say with great results.  Michelle Blackburn and Elaine Anderson won the Ladies doubles on both days.  Dean Malcolm and Glenn Mclnerney from Dalmeny won the men’s doubles on both days as well.  Elaine and John played in the mixed competition as well.
