Our Davis Cup team travels to Brisbane to play Korea in the second round Asia/Oceania Zone 1 match from 6-8 April with the younger players leading the charge following the injury to Lleyton Hewitt.

Commenting on the up-coming Davis Cup match Todd Woodbridge says “After an emphatic victory against China the team is looking forward to the tie against Korea in Brisbane with the goal of setting up a match for World group play off in September. After coming so close against Switzerland last year the boys are more determined than ever to claim that world group position.”

Neale Fraser, former Davis Cup player and captain, and the President of the Australian Davis Cup Tennis Foundation epitomizes the spirit of the Davis Cup and invites members of the tennis community to support the Davis Cup team stating, “If you are passionate about tennis and looking to support Australia’s tennis future then you are invited to join the Australian Davis Cup Tennis Foundation where you will assist Tennis Australia with its Player Development and Talent Identification programs. Foundation members have the opportunity to obtain priority ticketing and join Davis Cup touring parties to worldwide venues whilst providing valuable support to our Davis Cup team.”

Membership of the Foundation is $70 per annum. For further information about the benefits of membership of the Foundation, visit http://www.adctf.org/ or download a membership application form.
