The 32nd annual Tankworld-Rebound Ace Victorian Country Tennis Association (VCTA) Country Week is set to take over Wodonga from 11-15 February 2013.

An amazing 178 teams will make up the more than 900 players who will take part in the biggest grasscourt tournament in Australia as the Wodonga Tennis Centre will play host to the yearly event that for many is the highlight on the tennis calendar.  

“Country Week is a massive event for the country community,” said Pat Gilchrist, VCTA Administrator.

“It’s the biggest grass court event in the nation, if not the world.”

The event is the perfect mix of competitive tennis in a fun and family environment, with players ranging in age from 18 to 88 taking part across the week of tennis.

“The players enjoy the event so much because it is competitive as well as social,” Gilchrist added.

Teams of four men or four women compete across 24 grades ranging from A to C on 80 permanent and temporary grasscourts.
