18 March 2013 | Tennis Victoria

Tennis Victoria today launches the ACE Grants Program for 2013.  The ACE Grants Program provides up to $1000 to help clubs and coaches break down the barriers to participation for people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and newly arrived communities, people with a disability and indigenous communities.  The grants will help our clubs and coaches to become more welcoming and inclusive by engaging with these communities.

Tennis Victoria is aware that there are a number of internal and external factors that contribute to certain parts of the community not participating in tennis.  These community groups are important and have the right to participate in tennis but due to circumstances are not able to.  These grants are in place to help break down the barriers to participation such as cost, transport, equipment, language and accessibility and give these communities the opportunity to play our sport.
