After completing the regular home and away season, the Pennant season has reached the finals series with the remaining teams now playing off for a prized position in their Grade grand final and a chance to win their grade.

Tennis Victoria’s Competitions Manager Jeff Downes is excited about what lies ahead “ The 2013 Pennant season has been an enormous success with some significant changes introduced. The standard of the competition has been significantly increased across all grades with a smaller number of sections in the higher grades, and the success of our new competitions the Men’s Masters 50+ Doubles and Men’s Open Doubles has been particularly pleasing as this will lead to a growth in Pennant team numbers for many years to come. There will be a great atmosphere at Dendy Park Tennis Club this Saturday for the Grand Finals of all these competitions in what will be a fitting finale to a brilliant season for all players involved.”
