Victoria will be strongly represented by a quality field of players as a result of Victoria’s success in the recent AO Blitz competition. Towns around the country were encouraged to register and participate in a range of challenges that would earn them points. The leading towns around Australia have since been assigned an Australian Open player who will represent the town throughout the competition in the lead up to the final.

Our leading town, Moorooduc, have drawn returning Champion Victoria Azarenka as their representative. Reece Driscoll and Chris Besson from Moorooduc were lucky enough to meet Victoria Azarenka at the Australian Open Draw on Friday. The full list of Victorian towns can be seen below.

Let’s hope we see some of the ‘Victorian’ players in the finals!
