The ATL Playoffs will take over Melbourne Park today with the RSY Royals and Kooyong Classics representing Victoria in the Women’s and Men’s competitions.

Both teams have been boosted by Wildcard additions with Olivia Rogowska set to join her RSY Royals team mates and John Peers has been added to the Kooyong Classics line up. Both players were named for the teams’ original list for the ATL Vic Conference however didn’t play.  Rogowska joins a strong lineup for the Royals that includes Tammi Patterson, Azra Hadzic, Storm Sanders, Tayla Stenta and Samantha Harris.

The Kooyong Classics will be led by Captain David Bidmeade and will be represented by Rubin Statham, Daniel Byrnes, Andrew Coelho, Marc Polmans, Mitch Burman, Daniel Nolan and current Australian Open Doubles quarterfinalist Andrew Whittington.

The RSY Royals will play the New Zealand Tuis and the Kooyong Classics will play Canberra Velocity in the first round starting today. Both matches commence at 2pm on Courts 9 – 13.

Australian Open Ground Passes are required to enter the Melbourne Park precinct. They are available to be purchased at Ticketek (www.ticketek.com.au).
