Tennis Knox is hoping to inspire tennis fans from Melbourne’s South East suburbs to pick up a tennis racquet for its inaugural Festival of Tennis, held in the week following the Australian Open.
Tennis Knox’s Sandi Dawson said 13 clubs within Knox council area would open up their doors and facilities during the festival, which runs from Tuesday 28 January to Sunday 2 February. Players of all abilities are welcome to have a free trial at any of the clubs. There will also be opportunities to trial Cardio Tennis, a tennis fitness program, and MLC Tennis Hot Shots, an inclusive program for juniors.
