5 October 2015 | Tennis Victoria
The Victorian Seniors Festival kicked off at the weekend, with Tennis Victoria showcasing the benefits of the sport for all ages and abilities.
Celebration Day was held at Federation Square on Sunday, featuring stalls and demonstrations covering active living, lifelong participation and learning, arts and craft, health, technology, travel and later-life accommodation.
Thousands of elder Victorians enjoyed the activities, with the warm spring weather drawing hundreds to the modified ANZ Tennis Hot Shots courts for a hit.
Over 70 clubs will hold free tennis days this week for Seniors. Visit www.seniorsonline.vic.gov.au for all activity details.
