Victoria’s Aidan Vaughan has been crowned the School Sport Australia National Singles Champion, winning the 12/u final in Hobart at the weekend.
In a hard fought final against fellow Victorian Future Stars Program member Cooper White, Vaughan won the event 13-11 in the 3rd set Match Tiebreaker, 6-4, 3-6, 13-11.
The title adds to Vaughan’s recent NSW State championship victory.
In the Bruce Cup teams event, Victoria were unable to defend their title, finishing runners up to Queensland.
