Tennis Victoria are excited to announce that the 2016 Premier League season prizemoney pool has received a significant boost, jumping from $14,000 to $20,000 in the men’s and women’s leagues.

The league will commence on Sunday 6 March and conclude with the Finals Day on Sunday 17 April.

“We are sure that the increase in prize money to $20,000 will attract a high quality player field and really cement this league as Victoria’s highest level inter club league,” said Tennis Victoria’s Competitions Manager Jeff Downes.

“Premier League is an important part of our competition pathway within the state, and with the inclusion of the Country All Stars Team and the Country All Stars Super Round in Bendigo, the League provides a real pathway for country players to the highest level competitions in Victoria,” said Mr. Downes.

Team nominations are now open and close on Wednesday 16 December, with selected teams and fixtures announced Monday 21 December. More information.
