The sporting community of Kyneton has received a significant boost, with the Kyneton & District Tennis Club raising $7000 through the ANZ Home Loan Introducer Program.

Senior ANZ Management visited the Club to proudly present the cheque, which will be used to further develop facilities currently catering for over 120 coached juniors as well as a diverse social and competition group.

“It’s great to see the funding going into the community, and the enjoyment of the Kyneton kids and members,” said Mark Davis of ANZ. “It’s a great program and we look forward to building on the support of the club.”

The continued growth of the Kyneton & District Tennis Club has led to significant participation in tennis across the community, and the demand now requires new court development.

“Growth and new courts require funding, and that requires great relationships and support,” said Kyneton & District Tennis Club president Simon Meadows. “We are so appreciative of the ongoing support of sponsors Macedon Ranges Shire, and the community, and are delighted with the support of the ANZ Bank’s new Homeloan Introducer Program,” Meadows added.

In addition, Kyneton’s participation in the program means they are now in the running to win a Tennis Victoria ANZ supported Sports Party featuring the Coodabeens, and other tennis and media personalities to help raise further infrastructure funding.

“This is just the start and I welcome contact from anyone who we can inform to help us continue fundraising for the six new courts and light project which will service the communities growing love of tennis,” said Meadows.
