Name: Michael Odachowski

Title:  Leagues Coordinator

What is your role here at Tennis Victoria? My role at Tennis Victoria is centred around ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Leagues, School Sports Victoria Primary Schools Teams Tennis Competitions (red ball) and Junior Pennant.

What is the best aspect about your role?

Seeing the development of the junior players and the excitement they have participating in ANZTHSL and watching them through their tennis pathway journey.

What other sports have you worked in? Having spent time with Tennis Australia, I relocated to Sydney where I was involved with GWS Giants Academy, AFLNSW and Surf Life Saving Australia.

Do you have a favourite or memorable moment in your career? This is right up there.

You’re a new father, how are you handling life as a dad? With plenty of caffeine.

What do you do to keep active?  Try and run or ride when I get a chance, otherwise Wobbly Leg Wednesdays!

If you could invite anyone in the world to a dinner party, who would it be? Anyone willing to cook for me…

Where has been your favourite place to travel? I have many fond memories of a lot of places although I have a soft spot for a little tiny north/west Italian town called Ventimiglia.

Who is your favourite tennis player?

Past – Stefan Edberg / Gabriela Sabatini

Current – #GOAT (Federer) / Eugenie Bouchard

People often mistake you for AFL legend Chris Judd, have you ever used your likeness as a pick up line? Of course not, possibly, maybe once or twice…
