Tennis Victoria president Gary Clark last night announced at the ANZ Victorian Community Tennis Forum #7 that Cathy Freeman OAM will be the special guest at this year’s Victorian Tennis Awards / Championships Dinner.
Freeman, who sensationally won gold in the 400 metres event at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, will share her experiences at Tennis Victoria’s night of nights on June 27, just five weeks before the Rio Games.
The night, which announces the winners of Victorian Tennis Awards including Most Outstanding Club, Centre or Association of the Year, will also feature a special guest panel and entertainment.
