Victoria’s juniors were on top in Canberra during the week, winning two national titles at the 12s and 14s Australian Clay Court Championships.
Representing Victoria as part of the Tennis Victoria / National Academy Melbourne Tour Group, the team travelled to Canberra to compete for both singles and doubles crowns.
Beaumaris’s Stefan Storch added to his Australian Grass Court singles title, defeating fellow Victorian Stefan Milenkovic 6-3 6-4 in the 14/u singles final.
The victory came just one day after he claimed the 14/u doubles title alongside fellow Victorian Cihan Akay. The duo proved too strong for Queensland’s Casey Hoole and Tai Leonard Sach, 6-0 6-2.
In the boys 12/u singles final, Amor Jasika was defeated 4-6 6-3 6-2 by Queensland’s Alec Braund.
