Congratulations to the Top 50 Clubs for the 2017/18 year, based on the number of unique participants registered in the period 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. The Top 50 Clubs has become an annual celebration of high performing tennis venues in Victoria. We were proud to host the Top 50 Club Presidents – plus a leading female committee member from each club – at this year’s Presidents’ Lunch, which aimed to promote gender equity in tennis club leadership.

The Top 50 Club rankings are determined by the number of registered participants a club/centre registers during the previous financial year. Registered participants can include club members, coaching participants, social players, night competition players, casual court bookers, etc.

Unique non-member bookings through the Book A Court system are also added to the total figure that determines the Top 50 Club rankings.

Venues whose core business is not tennis can still register their venue participants with Tennis Victoria, however these venues are not eligible to be in the Top 50 Clubs. This is due to the intent of the program to recognise successful tennis venues.

New to the Top 50 this year are West Brunswick Tennis Club, MCC Kew, Bendigo Tennis Association, Cranbourne Tennis Club, Ranelagh Club, East Coburg Tennis Club, YMCA Leisure City and Croydon Tennis Club. We welcome back Wodonga Tennis Centre and Sunbury Lawn Tennis Club.

• Top 50: 469+ registered participants
• Top 100: 309+ registered participants
• Top 150: 241+ registered participants
• Top 200: 180+ registered participants
