Well done to our Victorian’s for their recent success on court.

Victorian’s who shone at Grand Slams

Dylan Alcott won an impressive 5th consecutive Australian Open Quad Wheelchair Singles title and also won his 2nd consecutive Quad Wheelchair Doubles title, with fellow Victorian, Heath Davidson.

Heath Davidson won his 2nd consecutive Australian Open Quad Doubles title, alongside fellow Victorian Dylan Alcott

Zoe Hives was awarded with an Australian Open main draw singles wildcard, winning the first round against Bethanie Mattek-Sands. Zoe also scored her first WTA win in the opening round of the Hobart International

Destanee Aiava was awarded with an Australian Open main draw singles wildcard, qualified for the Brisbane International main draw singles, and also won the Australian Open doubles wildcard, alongside partner Naiktha Bains

Marc Polmans was awarded with an Australian Open main draw singles wildcard

 

Players selected to represent Victoria or Australia in prestigious Teams events:

Daria Gavrilova was selected to represent Australia in the Fed Cup World Group tie vs. USA

John Peers was selected to represent Australia in the Davis Cup Round 1 Qualifiers tie vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina

 

Victorian’s who won at ITF Tournaments (Open & Senior), WTA & ATP level events:

Belinda Woolcock won the Caterpillar Burnie International Singles title in Tasmania

Arina Rodionova won the Caterpillar Burnie International Doubles title in Tasmania

 

Victorian juniors who won at ITF Junior Tournaments, State and Nationals events:  

Cooper White won the ITF J4 Christchurch Doubles title in Christchurch, New Zealand

 

Other outstanding Victorian achievements:
