While getting on court has proved challenging with varying restrictions across the state, tennis clubs are keeping busy off the court and and finding innovative ways to virtually engage their players and members.

Check out what some of the clubs have been doing during the lockdown period.

COBURG TENNIS CLUB

Coburg are looking to #BounceBackTogether and have been staying connected by completing challenges, running competitions and sharing fun facts.

KARINGAL DRIVE TENNIS CLUB GREENSBOROUGH

Teaming up with the coaching crew at Gripping Potential, the club has been running colouring competitions, skills challenges and games for coaching students, and ‘dress up your tennis racquet’ competitions.

Gripping Potential have also been providing advice around maintaining positive mental health during these tough times and healthy eating tips for the clubs adult members.

NATIMUK TENNIS CLUB

Natimuk Tennis Club have received plenty of community sport to assist in upgrades to their facilities, including three locals who have pledged to run a combined 50 kilometres to help raise money to fund dual-line marking of the courts.

WODONGA TENNIS CENTRE

Wodonga Tennis Centre are excited to open for court bookings while in Stage 3 Restrictions in regional Victoria. The centre has implemented a range of procedures to ensure everyone stays safe.
