The following message was sent to Tennis Victoria affiliates today, Sunday 8 November.

Following the announcements by the Victorian Premier
today we can confirm the following changes to restrictions that affect tennis.
These changes occur at 11.59pm tonight.

• 25km
  travel limit has been removed.
• There
  is no border between Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria for the
  purposes of travel.
• We
  believe there will be some changes for Indoor tennis, and we will confirm when the
  Restricted Activity Directions have been published.

The Premier indicated further planned easing of
restrictions that may occur from November 23. These changes will impact
tournaments, competitions and events with group numbers to be increased
significantly.

Once the Restricted Activity Directions are published
by DHHS we will update the Community Tennis Guidelines and share with you via
email and on the Tennis Victoria website.
