Round 2 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program has been extended to Friday July 30! Through the Victorian Government, funding is available for eligible families to receive support for their children to access sport and active recreation opportunities.

Eligibility and Program Dates

The Get Active Kids Voucher Program helps eligible families get their children involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms, and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each.

To be eligible, children must be Victorian residents, aged 4 to 18 and named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, as well as a Medicare Card.

Special consideration also applies for children named on their own valid Health Care Card or residing in Care Services. Additionally, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students may also be eligible to apply.

Applications for vouchers in Round 2 of the program open at 10am on Monday 31 May 2021 and close at 5pm on Friday 30 July 2021.

Subject to availability, eligible applicants can apply for up to two vouchers per eligible child in total during the period 1 March 2021 and 15 April 2022, however only one voucher per eligible child can be claimed per Round. Please note that you cannot claim on expenses that you have already successfully claimed in a previous Round of this Program.

In Round 2, applicants can claim eligible expenses incurred between 1 January 2021 and 9 July 2021.
