From grassroots to Grand Slams, competitive tennis is one of the cornerstones of the Australian tennis ecosystem. As we embark into a new world of sport in 2021 and beyond, competitive tennis has the potential to enrich the lives of more Australians and become the heartbeat of our industry.
As part of a national Tournaments and Competitions review, extensive research has been conducted throughout 2020 and early 2021 through a widely collaborative approach to better understand how competitive experiences can be improved for all stakeholders. The key findings from this research have shaped a Blueprint which proposes a path forward, including the establishment of a unified framework that will provide improved competitive experience for Australian players.

The ultimate goal is to have more players competing more often. This puts the player at the heart of progress and in doing so, will see all competition stakeholders succeed in today’s sporting landscape.
