Tennis Victoria are delighted to announce the state teams representing Victoria at the 2022 Australian Teams Championships starting next Friday in Carrara, Queensland.

 

Representative teams from all Australian States and Territories and New Zealand will descend on the Gold Coast for the highest representative event for Victorian junior tennis players in the 11/u, 13/u and 15/u age groups.

The 11/u and 13/u championships commence on Friday June 24, followed by the 15/u championships beginning on Thursday June 30.

 

Tennis Victoria’s Competitive Play Lead, Andrew Reynolds, was excited to announce the Victorian teams and rewarding players for their impressive performances to date.

“All players representing Victoria in the Australian Teams Championships should be extremely proud,” Reynolds said.

“These players are not only selected on their results, but also on their commitment to the sport across 12 months of the year. It will be a wonderful team experience and we wish everyone a successful trip to Queensland and a great event.”

 

Tennis Australia’s National Development Squad Coach (Victoria), Bernhard Goerlitz, is looking forward to the championships and competitive play at the highest level for our Victorian teams.

“This is such a great opportunity for Victorian players to represent their state.  It will be a fantastic teams event with some of the best players from around Australia competing.”
