Congratulations to Kilmore Tennis Club, the Affiliate of the Month for September 2022.  

Since introducing the Tennis 4 Teens Program, the club has introduced a Junior Committee who have a willingness to contribute ideas and strengthen the clubs operational health. The Junior Committee is encouraging teenagers to become involved in the club operations and giving them the opportunity to run their own programs with the guidance of the Club Committee.  

Through engaging the Junior Committee, Kilmore Tennis Club is ensuring they have a voice of youth to contribute to their plans and operations while also helping to engage the next generation of club volunteers.  

The Tennis 4 Teens participants have embraced the flexibility of the program and are now looking at holding more social events (e.g movie nights), and inviting more people from the community to join in, regardless of their tennis background. 

Congratulations to the Kilmore Tennis Club for taking the initiative in running the Tennis 4 Teens program which has had a substantial impact on the clubs engagement with the youth at their club.
