The best blind and low vision athletes gathered for three days of intense competition at the highest level, and our Victorian athletes shone on the big stage!
Ross Patterson followed his Victorian Tennis Award nomination for Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability with a dominant display, winning the B4 Open Singles and B3 Men’s Doubles with Victorian partner Adam Fayad.
Peter Robinson also had his share of success over the weekend as a finalist in both the B3 and B2 Singles, before combining with Queenslander Scott Dan to claim the silverware in the B2 Open Doubles.
In the Women’s competition, Phoebe David proved her prowess as a finalist in the B2 and B3 Singles.
A fantastic three days of competition, with an incredible standard of tennis set for the championships yet to come.
