Aron Lombardi has a passion for his profession and fortunately for our sport of tennis as well, he’s a fantastic advocate for the sport at his school and local community.

Some of Aron’s efforts to grow tennis recently in his community include:

• Delivering two amazing days of tennis at Caroline Springs Tennis Club for district competition in Caroline Springs with 8 schools involved.
• His students won both the girls and boys competitions at the district event, with the boys not dropping a game for the entire 14 rounds.
• He hosted a fantastic Grade 3/4 Tennis Hot Shots Competition for the Caroline Springs District at Christ the Priest Catholic Primary School and were able to win both the boys and girls competition
• Hosted the Keilor Division Championships
• Set up an official Tennis Lesson program at the school through Itennis
• Significantly strengthened the bond between the school and the Caroline Springs Tennis Club
• Has facilitated students from grades 3-6 playing and practicing tennis every lunchtime
• Supported more students to play tennis outside of school
• Helped grow the perception  and interest in tennis at the school
• Participated in the National Teachers Tennis survey
• Participated in the Positive Start Classroom to Court program

Aron’s passion for tennis and the development of his students is clear. He’s built strong relationships with the local club enabling the students to play more tennis outside of school.

On World Teachers’ Day we congratulate Aron Lombardi, the Tennis Victoria Community Champion of the Month for October 2022.
