5 June 2023 | Tennis Victoria

It’s been a fantastic month for Tennis Victoria on and off the court.

Our five Thriving Tennis Tour events which began across the state on April 30 and concluded on Sunday, June 4, these were a fantastic way for local clubs, coaches and associations to come together and discuss key initiatives. If you haven’t already, visit our website to read the TTT wrap-up along with our other latest news articles.

Tennis Victoria’s Pennant is in full swing, with 402 teams taking part this year, an additional 16 from last year! State Grade has also returned with the much anticipated first ‘Super Round’ of the season on June 17 at Albert Reserve and Beaumaris TC. Be sure to visit the venues from 1pm to watch some of the state’s top-ranked players donning their club uniforms and putting on a show! Tennis Victoria Pennant is pleased to partner with The Push Up Challenge in June to share the importance of looking after our mental health. All Pennant teams are encouraged to register to keep the on-court competition continuing off-court.

National Volunteers Week was an opportunity for Tennis Victoria to show our gratitude to the countless volunteers who donate their time and resources to help tennis thrive in our state. We appreciate all our volunteers, not just during National Volunteers Week, but every week, your contribution to tennis is much appreciated.

With the end of the financial year fast approaching, we launched our Affiliation packages for 2023/24 last week. If your club/centre/association didn’t receive your Affiliation information, please contact [email protected]

As we look ahead to the long weekend, there will be multiple King’s Birthday tennis tournaments across Victoria. Good luck to all competitors and thank you to the organisers who make it possible.

Until next time,

Adam Crameri
