Congratulations to the seven Victorian’s heading off to Wimbledon next month!

Out of those seven, we have 1 in the Women’s draw, 1 in the Quad Wheelchair draw, 1 in the Men’s Doubles, 3 in the Qualifying and 1 in the 14/U Championships.

Congratulations to Daria Saville who has qualified for the Main Draw in the Women’s Singles! After an incredible comeback from ACL surgery nine months ago, Dasha will be playing her first Grand Slam Tournament since U.S Open last September.

John Peers will be competing in the Men’s Doubles, *Final doubles entries TBC, and Heath Davidson will be competing in the Quad Wheelchair draw after a fantastic season and finalist in the Men’s Doubles Final at the French Open earlier this month. 

Lachlan King has earnt a Main Draw spot in the 14/U Junior’s – an incredible effort!

Held one week prior to The Championships, the Wimbledon Qualifying Competition is comprised of Men’s and Women’s Singles competitions to determine the final Main Draw places for The Championships 2023. To secure a Main Draw place, players compete in a knock-out tournament and must win every one of their matches across three rounds to earn one of the 16 Championships’ places in each of the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ draws.

This year’s Qualifying Competition takes place from Monday 26 June to Thursday 29 June at the Community Sport Centre Roehampton.

Jaimee Fourlis and Arina Rodionova will be competing in the Women’s and Marc Polman’s will be compeiting in the Men’s.

The Wimbledon Main Draw begins Monday 3 July to Sunday 16 July.
