This month we celebrate not one, but two community champions.

Congratulations to Nicole and Maria Vallos from NANDM Tennis Coaching and Hurstbridge Tennis Club who are the Community Champions of the Month for June 2023.  

Twin sisters Nicole and Maria started coaching at the age of 15 and have been running their own coaching business for over 20 years. They provide tennis programs, events, and come n try sessions and volunteer time for Special Olympics including being the State Tennis Managers.  

They have introduced UTR sanctioned events for PWII (People with an Intellectual Impairment) Players – possibly the first in Australia. In 2023 events will be held once a month, creating safe, welcoming match play opportunities for PWII players, an experience that can be very intimidating.    

They are energetic and passionate individuals who are highly committed to achieving excellence in every aspect of their coaching business on and off the court. They are strong positive women who are excellent role models.
